OEMN 2019
Workshop on Optofluidics and Electrokinetics
in Micro and Nanoscale Devices
NOVEMBER 7-8, 2019
KYOTO, JAPAN
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The 3rd International Workshop on Optofluidics and Electrokinetics in Micro and Nanoscale Devices (OEMN2019) will be held in Campus Plaza Kyoto, Kyoto, Japan on November 7 & 8th, 2019. It is the continuation of the previous workshops, held in Hsinchu, Taiwan in 2017 and Haifa, Israel in 2018. OEMN 2019 aims at bringing together experts in the field of Optofluidics and Electrokinetics from Israel, Japan, US, and Taiwan to share recent progress, to promote the exchange of ideas and to create a platform for collaborative research.
This workshop will be focusing on but not limited to several thematic topics in the field of optofluidics and electrokinetics, bringing out cutting-edge developments in the domain of Micro- and Nanoscale devices as well as materials and biomedical sciences. One of the themes is the theoretical and experimental aspect of Janus particle electrokinetic manipulation and photothermal flow induced by micro and nanobubbles. The topics also extend to other aspects of Optofluidics and Electrokinetics including optical trapping and microswimmers.
OEMN 2019 will have only invited lectures from the leading researchers. Submissions are open for the poster presentations only.
